Haitian-American soccer player Josy Altidore may be OUT of World Cup 2014 only 23 Minutes after his first game
Every Haitian soccer fan out there was hoping that Haitian-American soccer player Josy Altidore would represent Haiti in a big way at the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil but it looks like he may be OUT... Just 23 Minutes after the opening of the USA game with Ghana, the Haitian-American fooball star got injured...
"I was sprinting and I felt something," Altidor said. "I was crushed. I knew right away I couldn't continue. It was the worst feeling."
USA had a 2-1 victory over Ghana on Monday but I think Haitian-Americans are very sad about the news of Alditor's injury. He was taken off on a stretcher, replaced by Aron Johannsson.
According to Head coach Jurgen Klinsmann, Altidore's injury comes as a major blow.
Klinsmann said:
"It was not easy to swallow the first pill of Jozy coming off the field. He is very, very important for us."
What do you think about this?
